Forza Motorsport 3 Review
Forza Motorsport 3 Review.
Grand Turismo may still be the leading series in the racing genre but Forza 3 is closing in on them with the new Forza. The team at turn 10 have made a huge effort to make the best racing Sim possible and some people are saying that it is better than Grand Turismo.Turn 10 has added so much onto the original 2 Forza's and the outcome is spectacular.
The game is very accessible for people with less experience in racing games but is also good for the hardcore players, with a good versatile difficulty setup menu there is a lot of choice as to how hard you want the racing to be. They worked very hard on the physics of the cars in every aspect, so when you go round a corner you can see the g-forces having an effect on the cameras.
There is also a lot of realism in the cars themselves with each car having 10 times as many polygons as the first Forza making the cars look very real. Also the way the cars tyres trim comes of and the tyres bend is fun to watch, they even put a camera in the game to watch the tyres.
Forza 3 has over 400 cars from over 100 manufacturers so there is always enough cars to have fun in especially with the new tuning settings, this brings even more into the game, this is cool because if your not a fan of the racing but just in the cars you can just sit around and tune them.
There are 115+ track layouts in several environments, including world famous race tracks as well as road courses in some of the worlds most beautiful regions. Some of the made up tracks could make you think they are real with the amount of detail that goes into them which shows how passionate turn 10 are about there game.
They have the paint system from the old Forza which is all that you need really, you can do anything with this and some of the creation you can make are unbelievable, this brings a lot of life to the new storefront because you can share and sell your custom designs for credits to buy new designs and more cars. You can do a lot in the storefront, you can sell you tuning setups, cars, designs and even share pictures and videos, o if you ever feel like taking a break form the racing just visit the storefront.

The online is one of the best feature of this game along with the long career, with the online you can custom create any game mode that you can think of, one minuet you could be drag racing and next you could be playing car football, there is a lot to do with this, even if on the career you do not have a good car online you can pick any car on the game letting you drive some of you favorite sports cars before you unlock them.
The career is very long which you will notice when you start driving the nice cars and think its almost over you probably are not any where near. Even though you start out with slow cars it is still an enjoyable experience, the races are made fun with the AI drivers, they make very realistic mistakes which can be funny to watch when they spin out. As you level up through your career you get free cars, the higher the level the better the cars, i like this because you don't need to spend all of your money on an expensive car when you can unlock it for free.

Yes the Bugatti Veyron is in Forza 3.
They have added a new rewind system which is useful, if you take a corner to fast and go of or spin out just rewind to a place that feels right and retake the corner, you can use this as much as you want, some people see this as cheating, but i see it as if you think that then just don't use it.
This racing Sim has to be one of my favorite games on the xbox 360 because of the diversity within it, you can make it what you want, this game is unique and isn't going to be beaten to easily, it has set a new bar for racers.
